Pain Society of Oregon Conference Well Attended

- March, 2014

The semi-annual Pain Society of Oregon recently had their semi-annual conference on Neuroplastix Transformation with Dr’s Michael Moskowitz and Marla Goldman. This was attended by 6 of the profession therapy staff from Healing Bridge Physical Therapy and provided them extensive training to further their ability to assist people who experience persistent pain. The focus is in utilizing the plasticity of the brain which has been proven to change with persistent pain. People can also learn how to use this plasticity to re-change their brains over-active responses to pain so that they can better manage and even eliminate their pain. In attendance were: Allison Suran, PT, GCFP (Owner and Founder of HBPT), Charlotte Watership, OT, GCFP, Zeyla Brandt PT, Fran Manti, MPT, Nancy Hartung, PTA, Annette Cyr, PTA
