Our Services

The human body possesses an amazing capacity to heal, but occasionally it needs assistance.

 At Healing Bridge Physical Therapy

our goal is to relieve your pain and restore function, wellness and balance through comprehensive interventions and unmatched expertise.

We specialize in the treatment of:

Active people often experience injuries that can cause a lapse in life as they know it. We offer:

  • Timely and specialized intervention to help you get back to work and play
  • Multiple techniques to diminish pain and restore function
  • Education to protect you against future harm as you return to your favorite activities

Preventing injury is the name of the game when it comes to back and spine care. That’s why at Healing Bridge we:

  • Help you eliminate neck, back and/or pelvic pain
  • Provide posture and movement education for your recovery process
  • Share back basics to reinforce your knowledge of how to stay healthy
  • Place you in optimal alignment and teach you how to stay there

There are two very different kinds of pain—acute (less than six months in duration) and chronic—and each gets treated in a different way. Even so, the first level of treatment for either involves:

  • Managing the pain
  • Looking for specific muscular weakness, tightness and poor postural habits
  • Bringing those into balance through specific exercises, stretches and stretches
  • Evaluating what specific problems may be contributing to your pain and help you learn how to move in life so you don’t continue to aggravate the problem or get hurt again

Pelvic floor disorders of urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain affect 25 percent of women in the United States; yet on average women wait for 6.5 years before even discussing bladder problems with their physicians.

Physical therapy is a recommended treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction.  Our Pelvic Health program eliminates any reason to wait.  Our therapists are caring, compassionate, and trained experts in helping women across their lifespan with:

• Bladder and bowel dysfunction
• Pelvic and bladder pain
• Post-natal complications
• Prolapse
• Difficulties related to sexual intercourse
• And more

On land our bodies are subject to the compressing force of gravity. In the pool our bodies are supported by buoyancy, we’re basically weightless. Water decreases the amount of weight coming down on our spine, hips, knees and ankles and therefore increases comfort at these joints. Standing in the water we can also take advantage of the surrounding resistance in all directions to work the body’s muscles with every movement.

At Healing Bridge Physical Therapy we emphasize wellness rather than mere functionality. That’s why we help you with a variety of conditions including:

  • Balance challenges
  • Osteoporosis
  • Diabetes
  • Weight management
  • Women-specific issues
  • Cancer Recovery
  • Neurological challenges
